• Tests of individualy imported vehicles from the third countries (except EU and contracting countries), individualy manufactured or converted vehicles for their approval by the District Office for Transport and Roads

SLOVDEKRA s.r.o. provides the approval tests according to all valid EC Directives and UN ECE Regulations within the scope of the international group DEKRA International, GmbH. The tests for which test capacities in the Slovak Republic are not available are performed in Germany and in the Czech Republic using the principle of minimizing the customer´s costs.

• Other tests

Technical Service performs tests according to STN (Slovak Technical Standards) and other special regulations:

• STN 30 0510 - measurement of the fuel consumption of road motor vehicles
• STN 30 0515 - fuel consumption of heavy duty vehicles and buses
• STN 30 0522 - control test of the mass of road vehicles
• Regulation MD (Ministry of Transport) on smoke determination of vehicles in use equipped with compression ignition engines 
• Regulation MD on determination of noise emission in the interior of motor vehicles
• According to the requirements of the customer e.g. tests for motor magazines

The results of given tests are accepted by Ministry of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications of the Slovak Republic as the base for the type approval of road vehicles, systems, components or separate technical units in the sense of Act National Council of the Slovak Republic Nr.725/2004 Coll. on conditions of vehicle operation in the road traffic and on the amendments of some acts as amended.

SLOVDEKRA s.r.o. is the only service in the Slovak Republic that provides to bus transport operators the possibility to obtain the extemption "TEMPO 100" for the drive by the speed of 100 km/h on high-ways in Germany. The extemption may be obtained for trailers (O1, O2) too.
